Daily Breaking / Motihari:
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav reached Motihari on Sunday and launched a sharp attack on the NDA government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a memorial programme held on the death anniversary of late RJD leader Suresh Yadav.
Tejashwi Yadav participated in the event organised in Lakshmipur village of Motihari. He paid floral tributes by garlanding the statue of Suresh Yadav and inaugurated the memorial. A large number of RJD workers, local villagers, and party leaders were present. Upon his arrival, supporters welcomed him enthusiastically with flowers, garlands, slogans, and musical processions.
Addressing the massive gathering, Tejashwi Yadav stood on the roof and spoke to the huge crowd. He described Suresh Yadav as a towering leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and praised his important contribution in strengthening the party organisation. He appealed to party workers to work with full strength and dedication in the region.
Taking a swipe at the NDA government, Tejashwi said, “This is not a government of the people, but our government will be formed again in the coming times.” He asked the workers to keep their morale high.
Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tejashwi Yadav said that people are being advised not to buy gold and to reduce fuel consumption. He remarked, “Today they are saying don’t buy gold, tomorrow they might also say that people should not buy clothes either.”
He also made a strong statement on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying, “I had said earlier that Nitish Kumar will not remain Chief Minister, and even today I am saying that the BJP government will also not remain.”
During the programme, several senior leaders and RJD office-bearers also addressed the gathering and recalled the political and social contributions of Suresh Yadav.
